Rumors had been swirling about potential new music from Glover, and thanks to a countdown on an app that Glover tweeted last week, many were speculating about a new album. And on Sunday night, Glover confirmed those rumors. Glover will drop Pharos, his first Childish Gambino album since 2013's Because the Internet, in September at a three-day camping event at Joshua Tree in California, according to his free app PHAROS Earth. For those without the app, tickets will be available three days later on June 27. With this announcement, Pharos will likely be one of the biggest albums of the fall, leaving no shortage of work for Glover, whose highly anticipated show Atlanta is set to premiere on FX in the fall.
